Warranty
Items sold by MieWave are covered by the legal warranty. Before purchasing any product, please keep in mind the following points described on this page:
MieWave is merely a distributor;
All products sold by MieWave are not manufactured by MieWave. At the time of sale, MieWave transfers the warranty for that product(s) to the Customer;
Some products are marked with a warranty period longer than the legally stipulated 3-year warranty for end consumers. After 3 years, the warranty process must be handled directly between the Customer and the manufacturer;
In situations where the purchaser, whether a legal entity or individual, is a professional user, meaning the purchased goods are intended for professional use (industrial, services, etc.), the warranty on the movable asset is 6 months, according to Decree-Law No. 47,344 of November 24, 1966.
In case of difficulties installing/using a product, first ensure that you are following all instructions contained in the Manufacturer's Instruction Manuals, particularly regarding the installation and use of the appropriate software. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer directly.
In cases of RMA, MieWave is committed to doing its best to ensure your product is exchanged as quickly as possible. However, please keep in mind that the process does not depend solely on the seller (MieWave). All products that arrive at our facilities for RMA are tested and shipped as quickly as possible. From then on, the process becomes the responsibility of the manufacturers and suppliers.
Items that require specific care in handling, transportation, and maintenance, essential for their proper functioning, should be ensured before purchasing. In the event of a malfunction, the equipment is sent to an external technical support center, whose opinion is final. If you disagree with the report issued, you must provide proof of your arguments;
In the case of discontinued products, the exchange may be made for an equivalent or superior product to the one currently on sale; however, this exchange is the sole responsibility of the supplier/manufacturer. A credit note may also be issued so the customer can later purchase another item(s).
RMA requests are submitted using the form below or in our reserved customer area. Failure to follow the procedures described in this section will result in the return of the product at the customer's expense;
Please note that any modification to the original product VOIDS THE WARRANTY. For example: removal of serial number stickers or other warranty labels, tampering caused by VMODS, incorrect installation of heatsinks on graphics cards and memory, processors and motherboards with broken/bent pins, incomplete products, as well as the installation of electronic components or similar products. In all these cases, the RMA request will be immediately REFUSED;
Regardless of whether the equipment is under warranty or not, whenever it is received for repair and no damage is detected, or if the damage was caused by improper use, a fee may be charged to cover logistical costs;
Under no circumstances will MieWave be held liable for any partial or total loss of data, programs, or software installed on products returned for repair;
MieWave reserves the right to refuse requests for duplicate invoices to initiate a repair process, and it is mandatory to keep them until the end of the warranty period.
Headphones, earbuds, vacuum cleaners, or similar products that require careful maintenance should be returned after cleaning. Failure to do so may invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
Contract Termination (Returns) – Remote Purchases (miewave.com)
For remote purchases (online and to be delivered to the address via courier), Portuguese law establishes a 14-day period for consumers, after taking physical possession of the goods, during which they may return the item(s) without needing to provide a reason.
In cases of voluntary contract termination, the return shipping costs are the consumer's responsibility, as stipulated in Article 13.2 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14.
Conditions for Accepting Returns/Exchanges
1.1. The returned item must be intact and free from any signs of use or damage from removal of film.
1.2. You must return the item along with its packaging, manuals, and accessories in perfect condition.
1.3. Along with the returned item, you must include the invoice showing the item.
1.4. For products in online stock, MieWave reserves the right to evaluate and make a decision regarding acceptance.
*If any of these points are violated, we will not be able to accept the return (and the resulting refund).
